There was one time I didn't have a car to scream in. I think it was in the shop. Anyway, I decided to try and channel that anger into my workout. I'd heard about people doing that, and it seemed like a decent opportunity to give it a shot.
So I walked inside my gym, earbuds already in, and went for the treadmills. There was only one available, but you know me. I'm not shy. I got on and started running, pushing myself a little faster than usual. It didn't calm me down, so I pushed even faster. I figured that even if it didn't help with the anger, at least I'd get a good workout.
At some point, I noticed that the treadmills on either side of me were no longer occupied. That was unusual but not alarming. I kept running. I thought I heard someone talking behind me, but I had no reason to stop. It's a gym, you know?
Then, one of the staff members popped up beside me. Big guy. Looked like he was on edge. He was mouthing "sir," so I stopped, took out my earbuds, and asked what the problem was.
It turned out that I looked so furious, I scared half a dozen people away from the treadmills. They had the biggest staff member available approach me in case they had to physically throw me out.

You probably are a story someone tells at parties though, I won't lie to you.

[ Yes, he added a cute smiley face. Emojis are great, don't @ him. ]
There are worse stories they could tell. I'll take that one.
